Reflections

Using blogging as one of the methods to teach is not an easy way. Firstly, it is not a common method as it requires the teacher to think of an innovative way to create a learning blog for students. Secondly, it may not be the most effective way to learn certain topics or certain subjects. From this course, however, I have learnt a few tools to create a learning blog for a class of students. Some of these methods are wikipages and podcasting.

The use of blogs is also an ingenious way to communicate with students online as most students are "well-versed" in the "art of internet". Blogging might serve to be the next most effective way to engage students in learning when classroom learning fails. However, teachers should take note not to blog for the sake of blogging but blog with the purpose of creating effective learning.
